Two Medic to Medic graduates were awarded prestigious Commonwealth Scholarships to study full time in the UK during the 2018-19 academic year.
This prestigious and historic scholarship is awarded to future innovators and leaders, particularly to those from disadvantaged backgrounds who would not otherwise be able to fund postgraduate study. These merit-based scholarships are awarded to those who display outstanding potential to contribute to the needs of their home countries. Find out more here and here.
Medic to Medic MBBS graduate Dr. Yohane Gadama undertook a 12 month MSc course at University College London in Stroke Medicine. He was also selected to attend a special function held at the Commonwealth Secretariat headquarters in London, where he had the privilege of shaking hands and interacting with Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex, who was the Commonwealth youths’ ambassador.

M2M physio graduate Alice Namanja undertook a 14 month MSc course at the University of Chester in Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation. She was also appointed as the Commonwealth Scholarship Coordinator for scholars based in north-west England.
We are so proud of our graduates and the potential they hold to make a significant impact in their home countries and on the global stage.
